Solar Energy
As we watch solar energy applications grow in both number and scale, we've highlighted a few systems which are cranking out solar electricity utilizing photovoltaic panels. Take a look at the following links for a few exemplary systems, including a couple of local installations and information on the world's largest PV arrays.

Geography of
Electricity Generation in the United States - 2011: Fuels and Prices,
a largely graphical (map-based) report summarizing observations of the
state-by-state methods and fuels used to generate electricity during
2011. The report relies entirely on data available from the EIA;
these state-by-state data have been ranked for high and low percentage
and quantity reliance by each state for electricity generation.
Brooks Martner of Lafayette, CO prepared the report from the EIA data.
