This year The University of Toledo will host the Ohio Section of the American Physical Society and The American Association of Physics Teachers fall 2000 meeting. In conjunction with these meetings, we will host the fall 2000 Society of Physics Students Zone 7 Meeting.

The Zone Meeting will feature a special session for talks on undergraduate research during the contributed talks session on Saturday. Following the talks a special round table discussion session has been planned to discuss zone news, share chapter triumphs and problems, and plan future zone activities.

Because student fees are waived for the OS/APS meeting, students are strongly encouraged to register for and attend the OS/APS meeting. More information is at the conference web site,

A tentative schedule of events is as follows
7:30 - 8:00 AM Welcome and Refreshments
8:00 - 10:00 AM SPS student talks (10 minutes talk, 2 minutes questions *)
10:00 -11:00 AM SPS round table discussion and lunch
11:00 AM Adjournment for SPS
