• The 2004 -- 2005 Chapter Report was, in fact, completed and submitted by Levi Gorrell.
• Student Organizations meeting: (date unknown)
• Attendance is required for any organizations that receive university funding (i.e., not us)
• Student Activities Fair: (Wed. Aug. 31^st, 11-2 PM, Centennial Mall)
• Discussed creating a promotional poster covering outreach, social activities, etc.
• Possible lamination at Kinko's (?)
• Student Leadership Training (dates unknown)
• Presidents of organizations gather to receive training

Tentatively planned events for the 05-06 school year:

 

• Star Parties
• Involves helping to start up astronomy clubs at local elementary schools and continuing the partnership initiated last fall
• Will begin in September (potentially on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday nights)
• Toledo Astronomical Association (Sat. Sept. 3^rd)
• Involves participating in a star party with the TAA and local Boy Scout troops, including a presentation by NR
• Free food
• COSI: Dreams to Reality event (Dec. 3^rd)
• Involves setting up a table
• Focuses on women in science
• Possible faculty involvement
• Night Sky Network: Steve Squyres Teleconference (Sept. 29^th)

• UT Education Department: Developing math and science interest among kids (TBA)

• SPS private star party
• SPS Fall Picnic (?)

• Involves visiting lower level physics classes and giving a short talk about SPS

• ASTR 2010: TR 11 AM, MH 2002 (same group as above?)
• PHYS 2140 MTWRF 10 AM, MH 2002 (?)
• Contacting NASA and/or COSI for potential demo materials
