Research Interests: Hot Luminous Stars
At EMU, I worked on an area of quantum gravity called Causal Set Theory. The theory presupposes that the small structure of spacetime is composed of a discrete, ordered set of points. Within this theory, I studied the kinematics of causal sets in Minkowski space. Currently, at UT, I am beginning to conduct research into the reliability of hot, massive stars to be used as extra-galactic distance indicators. This will be done primarily using H-alpha observations.
