Philosophy of the Graduate Program
The aim of the graduate program in physics is to provide the opportunity for personal interaction that is characteristic of a small program with the international research contacts and world-class faculty stature often found in larger programs.
Notice: stipend enhancement awards
The Department of Physics and Astronomy will award assistantship stipend enhancements to exceptionally well-qualified students entering in fall 2008 with interests in astrophysics and condensed matter/materials physics/photovoltaics.
- Stipend enhancement amount is $1,000 per semester, renewable for up to 3 years.
- For further details, please inquire by email.
- These interest areas have been designated for enhancement by The University of Toledo.
- Students with interests in other areas in the department will continue to receive full consideration.
