Catalog Description |
A
50-minute juried public performance of music studied in MUS 4800. The recital
serves as senior recital for music performance majors. |
|
Syllabus |
Topics
(i.e. music to be performed) will vary from student to student and will be
selected in consultation with the major professor from the materials studied
in the upper level applied lessons (MUS 4800). Recital will be a juried
public presentation of 50 minutes worth of music. |
|
Curriculum Fit |
The
recital is normally given in the student’s last semester of study before
graduation, and is required of all Bachelor of Music Performance majors. Other music majors may audition for a
panel of adjudicators selected from the music faculty to take this class. The expected enrollment will vary from 3-5
per semester currently, and within 5 years 11-15. |
