Catalog Description |
A
25-minute juried public performance of music studied in MUS 4800. The recital
serves as a junior recital for music performance majors and a senior recital
for Music Education majors. |

Syllabus |
Topics
(i.e. music to be performed) will vary from student to student and will be
selected in consultation with the major professor from the materials studied
in the upper level applied lessons (MUS 4800). Recital will be a juried
public presentation of 25 minutes worth of music. |

Curriculum Fit |
The
recital is presented by music education majors in their Senior year before
student teaching and by music performance majors during their junior year.
The expected enrollment will vary from 3-5 per semester currently, and within
5 years 11-15. |
