Catalog Description

Surveys the theoretical and applied economic issues within the world of professional and amateur sports, focusing on industrial organization, labor economics, and public finance.

Curriculum Fit

This course will be an elective for Economics majors.  However, this course would also be an elective for students interested in sociology, business, political science and public administration, law, psychology, and other disciplines related to the sports field.
