Curriculum Fit |
This course will be required of all students who
major in nursing and selected other health related fields (e.g., respiratory
therapy) |
|
Similarity to Other Courses |
For
nursing students this course will replace the two-semester sequence CHEM
1210-1220 and lab course 1260. This
new course is being proposed at the request of the Medical College of
Ohio. There will be a reduction from
7 semester hours of chemistry to 4 semester hours. However, the entrance requirements for the new course are
higher than those for 1210. This
change will mean that more students will need to complete CHEM 1090 before
enrolling in CHEM 1120 than in CHEM 1210. |
