Curriculum Fit |
Glacial geology fills a
hole in the existing course offerings of the department and provides an
additional senior level option. Much of Ohio and the northern fringes of the
conterminous United States owe their landscape, soils and many other
resources to the activity of glaciers during the last two million years. Many
of our students are employed in the environmental sector that requires
knowledge of the glacial and glacial lake sediments and landforms. |
