The changes re-organize the distribution requirements,
in particular changing the titles of the three categories.
Previously these catagories were
Category 1 de facto became Judeo-Christian topics courses,
category 2 de facto became courses in Islam and comparative monotheisms,
and category 3 became the "other"--Eastern, Native American,
and so on category.
The thought was that any naming system for the categories might
privilege some religious tradition or traditions and might not
fully respect other traditions.
The categories now better represent, as well, frequency of offerings.
1. Christian Studies,
2. Non-Christian Western Religions,
3. Non-Western Religions.
This proposal removes names and just lists the courses in groups.
